Dear Parishoners,
You will no longer require to book for any Mass you wish to attend. This is, of course, subject to change should our numbers exceed capacity or the Scottish Government announce any amendments.
Face coverings must still be worn. Stewarding and hygiene and disinfection measures must remain as previously.
Contact details are still required to be taken for Test and Protect. We will have a log-in sheet available to register your attendance as you enter the Church. We have also applied for a QR code should you wish to use this method to register.
Once you enter the Church, we would request that you take a seat and remain there until coming to Holy Communion or as directed by a steward. It is very important that we continue to social distance wherever possible.
Congregational singing is permitted with face coverings. We will provide you with a Hymn sheet as you enter the Church.
Holy water fonts are to remain empty, the shaking of hands at the Sign of Peace and Communion from the chalice are not yet permitted.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience, support and generosity throughout this pandemic. I know that we are not "out of the woods" just yet but hopefully this is a very positive step in us returning to normality.
God Bless.
Father Duncan McVicar
